Candidates sought for Thunder Bay Port Authority Board of Directors

Thunder Bay Port Authority, established under the Canada Marine Act and part of Canada’s national ports system, has a vacancy on its Board of Directors. The Minister of Transport has entrusted a Port User Group Nominating Committee to identify qualified candidates for this position.

Representing the grain industry, Port User Group 1 is seeking eligible candidates to be considered for a Director position on the Thunder Bay Port Authority Board.

Eligible candidates should have an acknowledged and accepted stature within the transportation, business management and/or grain industries.

Thunder Bay Port Authority and User Group 1 value diversity and encourage women, Indigenous Peoples, visible minorities and persons with disabilities to apply.

The User Group will review all applications and forward a list of eligible candidates and its recommendation to the Minister of Transport for his consideration.
