The Intermodal Yard is located on a 4 ha (10 acre) site adjacent to the Port Authority's Keefer Terminal with its facilities capable of handling and transferring between marine, rail and road transportation. 

The Keefer Intermodal Yard, with its 45-ton Taylor Toplifter, is equipped to transfer containers between truck and rail modes.

The site is directly serviced by both CN & CP railways and has a reinforced asphalt pad that allows for heavy lift capability.
